About me

I have been working in Brazil and abroad with companies of diverse sizes, markets, and challenges. This ongoing engagement enables me to interact with dedicated and skilled professionals who collaborate with me on issues stemming from heightened competition, opportunities in mergers and acquisitions, investment projects, diversification, shareholder conflicts, enhancements in corporate governance, excessive debt, and legal and regulatory disputes.

I am frequently sought after when there is a transaction in the horizon or during the pre-transaction phase, especially when clients are struggling with challenges such as declining profitability, succession gaps, changes in the competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities.

With all these clients, I have also learned that the transaction is merely one chapter in the comprehensive scope of my job; there are many others during its execution. The establishment of trust is undoubtedly the cornerstone of my consulting profession, and I am proud to assert that frequently, upon the completion of a project, I continue to support my clients by offering my analytical, transactional, and relational support.

Signs of these trust-based relationships include situations where, faced with growth opportunities, my recommendation was one of inaction when they indicated a high risk of value destruction. At other times, my recommendations were to invest despite the risks.

Communication is another crucial factor to be developed in any job, when I use the skills I developed as a teacher and researcher. This aspect of my daily life drives my commitment to refining pedagogy, upholding scientific rigor, and exploring new tools and models to comprehend the market and its intricacies. As a teacher and a researcher, I developed the ability to articulate complex transactions with clarity, objectivity, and a simplicity that is both comprehensive and accessible.

As a teacher and researcher, I have also learned the power of sharing knowledge and reaping its feedback, recognizing opportunities for learning and reframing in classes and case studies. I am continually invited to enhance my skills.

My academic career not only feeds me with new ideas but also inspires my role as a consultant, creating a positive feedback loop. Inside and outside the university, I contribute to the development of human capital, the most crucial of all the assets. Through it, I empower my students and clients in identifying and seizing new opportunities, fostering a fresh perspective on the world.

A lot of hard work, much satisfaction, driven primarily by my passion for what I do and how I do it.
